Malcolm Morris Golden Jubilee
A celebration of 50 years of creativity
6th September until 12th of October 2025
A spectacular 50-year retrospective of Shropshire-based jeweller Malcolm Morris is set to launch in early September at Gold Lark Jewellery in Salts Mill, Bradford. This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to delve into the prolific career of a master goldsmith, showcasing over 150 pieces from his extensive body of work.
Visitors will be able to trace Morris's journey from his formative years as a City and Guilds apprentice, where his innate talent and skill first blossomed, through to his time creating magnificent costume jewellery for London Fashion Week following his BA at Middlesex University. The gallery has supported and sold his work for decades, so it was a natural partnership to bring this special show to Gold Lark Jewellery and allow him to meet with many of his loyal clients and share his creative success.
For those eager to own a piece of his history, samples from his early collections will be available for purchase on a limited basis, providing the chance to acquire beautiful, one-of-a-kind items.
Beyond the stunning displays, the retrospective will also feature Malcolm Morris's sketchbooks, offering a rare glimpse into his creative process and inspirations. He will also be hosting a special talk about his career at 11 am on September 7th, where attendees can gain deeper insight into his world. Following the journey of an artist and maker, which will be a fascinating insight into his creative path. The talk is free to attend but booking is essential via the Gold Lark Jewellery website under ‘Events’
